Background:

The founders of The Cavist Corporation realized early on that there was a strong need for an alternative to potting of electronics. As a result, The Cavist Corporation was incorporated in 1998 to bring Low Pressure Injection Molding to the US. Initially, equipment was imported from Europe but it was soon realized that better and more efficient equipment was needed for the American market. Cavist then set out to develop the most efficient equipment in the market. The Mold-man™ range of machines was developed. As a testimony to the quality and efficiency of its Mold-man™ machines, Cavist Corporation now holds patents in USA as well as in Europe.

In-depth studies, truly learning how to process Polyamide and developing its own range of machines from the ground up, gave the engineers at Cavist an in-depth understanding of how to successfully create the best Low Pressure Molding solutions for a given application.

The vast knowledge that was acquired about the complete Low Pressure Molding process prompted customer requests for Cavist to mold on contract basis. Several projects were successfully started and Cavist Manufacturing is now a full service contract manufacturer for Low Pressure Molding.
